Here is where it all started. This is the old red house that sat on the property previously.
There was also a barn behind the house.
This is all that was left once the backhoe was finished.
Excavation was challenging, but the result is 10 foot ceilings in the basement which is a very nice bonus.
Here are the Integrated Concrete Forms (ICFs) going up. In addition to below grade, all three above grade levels are also constructed from ICFs.
Engineered I-beams were used for both efficiency and structural benefit
A massive boom was used to transport the cement from the truck to fill the ICFs on the job site.
The siding is constructed from Oriented Strand Board (OSB).

Structured Insulate Panels (SIPs) were used for the roof. They were lifted and put in place by crane.
PEX water line systems are used though-out the house. The system pumps continuous hot water to the point of use to minimize wasted water for showers, etc.
